Day in the Life: Santa Claus

Speaking of his love for treats, Claus isn't too picky when it comes to what treats children leave out for him. Usually he prefers that the child pick their favorite type of cookie or snack for him. The one thing he does not really like is buttermilk.
"Mrs. Claus prefers me to drink cold fat-free milk because it is better for me, but I like to drink all kinds, except buttermilk. I will use it in cakes, but that is about it," said Claus.
One thing Claus does not want to do is end up sick around Christmastime, so he and the elves try to take the proper precautions.
"Occasionally some of us get the flu, but we almost always get flu shots to avoid getting sick. There have been some close calls -- as you might have seen on television, but everyone here loves Christmas so much that we all work extra hard to make sure that Christmas is as fun and special as it is supposed to be," said Claus.
Though there are many secrets that surround Claus and his chosen occupation, he believes that it's a good idea to not share everything.
"I like to keep a few things secret so that I can always surprise the kids I am visiting," he shared. "All I will say is that I use a little magic but I will always find a way to be there!"
