Simian Mobile Disco's new album Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release has a funky electro vibe that makes want to you dance.

With songs like "Tits and Acid" and "Hotdog," it's hard not to be curious of what their music actually sounds like. So what does it sound like?

It sounds like a thousand freight trains crashing together spilling pots, pans and tambourines across a fiberglass road that then shatters into a million pieces and lands on a hollow mountain that vibrates the sound of bass, robots and tribal drums across the sky.

It's something kind of like that - to me at least. If it's good or not, is up to you. Some of the ballads have no words like "Sleep Deprivation," while others are almost too catchy, like "It's the Beat." The sound is raw and a bit reminiscent of techno from the 80's, throwing in a few robotic beats here and there. Don't be surprised if you hear this music in a nightclub.

As for Simian Mobile Disco, made up of James Shaw and James Ford - who recorded, performed, produced and mixed all of the music on Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release - their music is interesting and evokes a feeling of electric energy that shoots moods and egos through the roof. Can you dig it?
